Okay. So you are going to be writing the Health Occupations Aptitude Examination (HOAE). Tomorrow. Or in a few days. Maybe this is a last minute decision. Maybe you procrastinated. It doesn’t matter. You got to get ready, and fast.
So what to do? How to get ready for the HOAE at the last minute?
As time is of the essence, here is the TEST PREP HACKER recommendation:
1. Start by doing a quick review of your basic by-hand math skills. Can you add, subtract, multiple and divide by hand? Can you do that working with decimals? You will need to know how to do all of this for the HOAE.
2. Are you good with units and measurements? You will need to know how to convert between common measurement systems. From kilometers to miles, and vice versa. Same with kilograms to lbs, and other common measurements.
3. How much do you remember from high school sciences like physics, chemistry, geology and biology? There are a lot of these questions on the HOAE. If you can’t recall the basics from these subjects, you have to review, and fast.
4. As for the vocabulary, spelling and reading comprehension sections of the HOAE, if this is last minute, don’t waste precious time on studying for them. You will have to trust that you know enough English to get you through these parts.
5. Read through the entire TEST PREP HACKER HOAE Study Guide. It is 150 pages of free study material covering all the material on the HOAE. Focus on the natural sciences chapter.
6. Purchase our UNLIMITED HOAE practice test package. This will give you unlimited access to our full length HOAE practice tests.
